Guardian University Guide 2022

Henley Business School Whiteknights

We are delighted to see all of our undergraduate subject areas at Henley Business School achieve UK top 30 rankings in this year’s Guardian University Guide.

Our overall UK positions for the undergraduate subject areas are:

  • No.21 for Building and Town and Country Planning
  • No.25 for Accounting and Finance
  • No.29 for Business, Management and Marketing

All of our subject areas remain in the UK top 15 for graduate prospects. The measure reflects the percentage of graduates that successfully find graduate-level employment or further study at professional or higher education level within 15 months of graduation. Our graduate prospects positions are:

  • No.1 for Building and Town and Country Planning
  • No.5 for Business, Management and Marketing
  • No.14 for Accounting and Finance

Two of our subject areas were ranked in the UK top 10 for value added, with Business, Management and Marketing ranked no.8 in the UK and Accounting and Finance ranked no.3 in the UK. An indicator of the effectiveness of undergraduate teaching, the value added measure compares students’ degree results with their entry qualifications.

Professor Peter Miskell, Head of Undergraduate Programmes at Henley Business School, said:

“The publication of the latest Guardian ranking once again reflects well on the quality of our undergraduate teaching across the Business School, with all subject areas situated within the top quartile nationally. Our position in terms of graduate destinations illustrates that all programmes provide an excellent springboard for students as they embark upon their future careers.”
