Henley Business School ranked 7th in the UK in FT European Business Schools Ranking 2022

The Financial Times European Business Schools Rankings 2022 sees Henley Business School increase its position among the top business schools in the UK for the second year in a row.

The ranking, which is based on five of the FT’s other rankings published throughout the year, places Henley at No.7 of UK-based business schools and No.35 in the table of European business schools.

Reflecting Henley’s commitment to championing diversity and women in leadership, we are pleased to retain our No.1 UK position for the percentage of female full-time faculty (47%), for which we placed at No.16 in Europe.

Henley also placed within the top 15 in the UK for the percentage of international faculty (61%) and the percentage of faculty with a doctoral degree (92%), placing us at No.13 and No.12 respectively. Our percentage of international faculty also saw us ranked at No.34 in Europe.

Based on five of the FT’s other tables published earlier this year, this is a year-end composite ranking from Executive MBA, Executive Education Open and Custom programmes, Global (full-time) MBA, and Masters in Management tables. Henley currently participates in all of these rankings with the exception of the Global (full-time) MBA.

The regional rankings measure the schools’ quality and breadth of programmes. Schools must participate in all five rankings in order to be eligible for a full score.

Highlights of Henley’s individual rankings are:

Executive Education

The Executive Education Ranking sees Henley placed at number 2 in the UK, 13 in Europe and 19 in the world for the combined ranking of open and custom programmes.

For our open programmes, we were ranked at number 2 in the UK, and placed at number 3 in the UK for our custom programmes. Both were also ranked among the top 20 in Europe (No.14 and No.18 respectively).

Executive MBA

Our Executive MBA programme is ranked No.7 in the UK and No.37 in Europe.

Alumni who studied with us received an average salary of $164,070 three years after completing their EMBA, registering an average 45% salary increase. This percentage salary increase sees us placed No.9 in the UK and No.46 in Europe for this measure.

Masters in Management

Our overall position for the Masters in Management ranking also increased to No.9 in the UK.

There are 17 UK-based business schools listed by the FT, with 95 schools ranked across Europe.
