Henley Enterprise Lab Inspires New Students During Welcome Week September 2025
Henley Business School’s Welcome Week (22–26 September 2025) at the Whiteknights Campus was a resounding success, as hundreds of first-year undergraduate students were warmly introduced to the vibrant academic and entrepreneurial community.

A standout contributor to the week’s activities was the Henley Enterprise Lab (HELAB), which played a pivotal role in engaging students with the world of entrepreneurship. HELAB hosted an interactive exhibition showcasing its wide range of initiatives designed to support aspiring entrepreneurs, including startup mentoring, idea development workshops, and access to funding opportunities.
Students also attended two inspiring talks delivered by HELAB: “Get Involved with Entrepreneurship” and “The Importance of Building an Entrepreneurial Mindset”. These sessions encouraged students to explore entrepreneurial thinking as a valuable skill and mindset, regardless of their chosen degree path.
In addition to group sessions, HELAB spoke with students one-on-one and in small groups throughout the week, helping identify opportunities to get involved and to make the most of their time at Henley. The personalised guidance was especially appreciated by students keen to explore business ideas or simply learn more about the entrepreneurial ecosystem at the university.
Welcome Week 2025 not only marked the beginning of an exciting academic journey for new students but also highlighted Henley Enterprise Lab’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of entrepreneurs.
