Alexandros Skouralis is a Lecturer in Real Estate & Finance at Henley Business School, University of Reading
His research focuses on financial stability/ systemic risk, real estate markets, climate risk (flood risk), and macroeconomic policy. His work has been published in leading academic journals, including the Journal of Banking & Finance, Journal of Housing Economics, Journal of Empirical Finance, Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions & Money, and Journal of Business Finance & Accounting. Before joining Henley Business School, Alexandros was a Research Fellow and Visiting Lecturer at Bayes Business School, City St George’s, University of London, where he contributed to various research projects, including the UK Commercial Real Estate Lending report. Prior to that, he worked in the Macro-Financial Division of the Central Bank of Ireland.
Alexandros would be interested in supervising PhD students on topics such as housing markets, financial stability and real estate, and climate risk.
