DBA Research Topic:
Middle managers and change implementation: Influence of organisational context & key contextual factors
Bhooshan is a DBA student at Henley Business School. His research interests are in the field of organisational behaviour, behavioural economics and leadership theory.
His research explores the role of middle-managers in traditional information technology (IT) organisations and how organisational context influences middle-managers during organisational change. The research aims to extend the study of organisational context and managerial behaviour during change implementation. In the modern organisation, with highly informed employees and an expectation of higher transparency, collaboration and participation, managers must be equipped to understand and explain the cause and effect of their behaviour to their subordinates, especially during change implementation when ambiguity and uncertainty predominate the organisational environment.
On the professional side, Bhooshan manages global business development for a large IT multinational organisation. He has completed his MBA from Copenhagen Business School, Denmark and his Bachelor's education in Accounting from Gujarat University, India. He is currently based in Singapore.
