Chris has a BA in Related Arts, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Performance from the Laban Centre for Movement and Dance at Goldsmith’s College, University of London. As a professional musician, he has been performing for the last 10 years in a variety of different projects, ranging from British folk music, to playing in a 24 piece traditional African dance troupe. As an educator and facilitator, he has been leading workshops since 1990, moving into the corporate field over the last 12 years.
His involvement in the business world began with drum circles for teambuilding events and leadership development, moving on to multimedia pieces including movement, storytelling and visual arts. His main areas of interest in experiential learning and development using arts-based training are; embodiment, creativity, CSR, and the link between performance and higher purpose.
He recently started Common Ground, an organisation which offers organisations the chance to be part of grassroots CSR based projects, involving the actual building of eco-domes for disadvantaged communities around the world.
