Aaron is the recipient of the 2025 Teaching Excellence Award from the University of Reading. His research interests centre on developing innovative strategies that promote inclusive learning environments and enhance the overall student experience. He is particularly dedicated to exploring how education can drive equitable development and transformative change. His academic focus encompasses several critical areas, including entrepreneurship, international trade and policy, and the impact of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on energy transitions in middle-income and low-income countries, particularly concerning sustainable development and global equity. Aaron is keen to contribute to research and curriculum design by actively developing and refining modules that reflect these interdisciplinary domains. His objective is to help shape educational programs that not only address pressing global challenges but also empower students to engage with them in a meaningful way.

In addition to being a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy UK with a proven track record of excellence in teaching and learning, Aaron possesses extensive experience in higher education. Prior to his current role, he served as a Postdoctoral Fellow and subsequently as an Associate Lecturer at Henley Business School, specialising in entrepreneurship and leadership education. Furthermore, Aaron has held positions as module convener and academic tutor at various higher education institutions across the UK. His teaching experience encompasses foundation, undergraduate, and postgraduate levels, with a strong emphasis on delivering impactful, student-centred learning.
