With more than 30 years’ experience in learning and development, Benita has built a strong reputation as an executive coach, coach supervisor, writer and facilitator of leadership and team development initiatives.
She is a former senior human resource leader at Citigroup, Merrill Lynch and the oil and gas industry, and now works with leaders, organisations and coaches globally in the development of people through one-to-one coaching, group programmes and coaching supervision. She is a visiting tutor at Henley on the MSc Coaching for Behavioural Change.
With extensive experience in helping leaders and coaches navigate the contemporary complexities they face, she brings a pragmatic and supportive coaching philosophy to her work. She is a Board Director at EMCC UK, published author, academic journal peer reviewer, presenter at global research conferences and a speaker.
Her book, Duty of Care in Coaching: A Comprehensive Approach to Navigating the Complexities of Contemporary Practice (published by Routledge), draws from her doctoral research. The research was the first of its kind to focus on how coaches make sense of duty of care and how they enact it in practice. She describes herself as having one foot in research and one foot in practice, bridging the two by turning her research into real world impact, while ensuring her work remains both informed and actionable.
