Location
Dr Shayan Shaikh is a Lecturer in Marketing at Henley Business School. Her research interests lie in the fields of consumer behaviour, personality psychology, luxury consumption, and pro-environmental practices.
Shayan holds an undergraduate degree with double major in Finance and Marketing, an MPhil in Brand Management, and a PhD in Consumer Psychology from the University of Warwick. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (MCIM), and a certified coach from the University of Warwick. She has published in prestigious journals such as Psychology & Marketing, International Marketing Review, Journal of Consumer Behaviour, and International Journal of Consumer Studies. Shayan’s primary research interests lie in luxury and sustainability, but she teaches modules that range from Marketing Communications and Media Management to Marketing in the Digital Age to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
