Dr Liza Castro Christiansen is a Visiting Fellow at Henley Business School.

An international business academic, Liza is an executive educator, a consultant and a board leader with more than 35 years of executive leadership experience across the education, hospitality and IT sectors. She supervises both DBA and Executive MBA candidates in the fields of human resource management, strategy, leadership and marketing, as well as teaching the MBA module Reputation and Responsibility.

Her academic appointments include roles as an Associate Professor in Denmark and a Visiting Professor in Spain, Switzerland, France, China, the USA and the Philippines. She holds a DBA and an MBA from Henley Management College and Brunel University.

Liza is widely engaged in academic leadership and professional service, including her role as elected Representative-at-Large on the Executive Committee of the HR Division of the Academy of Management (AOM). She regularly contributes as an organiser and panelist at the AOM. She is also an editor of books and a reviewer for leading scholarly journals, including Human Resource Management Review, Human Resource Manager and Organizational Dynamics.

As a management consultant, Liza advises organisations and designs and delivers leadership workshops for numerous companies and has served as board chair and board member in Spain, the UK and Denmark. An entrepreneurial academic with strong ties to the Philippines, she also designs and distributes golden South Sea pearl jewellery under her brand, LIZA CASTRO.
