Maurizio Grilli is Lecturer at Henley Business School, University of Reading. His teaching portfolio covers portfolio management and international real estate markets.

Maurizio is also a Partner and an Investment Director at Property Funds Research. Property Funds Research is an independent, management-owned business that provides confidential research, strategic consulting, and investment advice for real estate investors and managers.

Maurizio is a leading strategist with over 25 years of real estate experience.

Prior to his current appointments, he was head of investment management analysis and strategy at BNP Paribas and held similar posts at the Grosvenor group and Cordea Savills, among others.

He is multicultural and multilingual with extensive knowledge of global markets,and has managed global teams and projects. He is an experienced public speaker, active member of the real estate industry (INREV, IPE Real Estate, etc..). He is also a Research Fellow at Manchester University and cooperates with Genova University and LUISS University.

His research interests lie in portfolio management, international markets, indirect investment, general economics and geo-politics. He has published his work in various industry publications including The Institutional Real Estate Letter, Housing Finance International, Life Sciences Real Estate.
