Nic is a Henley qualified coaching supervisor. He joined the Business School to pursue his interest in developing the next generation of accredited team and one-to-one coaches. He is a specialist in coaching and organisation development, and draws on his experience of previous senior HR roles in the retail, FMCG and hospitality sectors.

He worked for PepsiCo in developing the people side of their restaurant businesses and was HR Director for Costa Coffee, playing a central role in acquiring and establishing the brand, both in the UK and overseas. As Learning and Development Director of Whitbread Restaurants, Nic was responsible for leading the development of over 20,000 people across 10 distinct brands. He has held executive positions in both HR and service/quality and was responsible for introducing coaching-based cultural change programmes into the Whitbread organisation.

Nic’s coaching practice spans many sectors, including retail, health, pharma, financial services, higher education, FMCG, elite sport, telecoms and not-for-profit. He has developed a strong reputation across these sectors, working with organisations, individuals and teams.

He holds accreditations with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) at Professional Certified Coach (PCC) level for both individual and team coaching.
