Simon Hall is a B2B Marketing Consultant; Course Director; Business Author; former Dell UK CMO; Fellow of the CIM (FCIM); University Lecturer; Global Thought Leader in Marketing

Simon has 30 years practical industry experience from large international companies including Dell, Microsoft, Acer, Philips, Toshiba and over 5 years university lecturing experience. Industry experience roles include senior level positions such as UK Chief Marketing officer – Dell UK , EMEA Director of Business at Acer, EMEA Head of Sales and Marketing at Microsoft.


Simon also has extensive knowledge and experience of Entertainment & Devices, Consumer Electronics, Gaming IT, Software and Services industries. Functional experiences are also extensive, including sales and marketing, business development and business growth to developing high performance teams, and driving and leading through change, across global leading IT vendors.

Simon’s primary interests are in B2B Marketing; the application and evolution of Metaverse and AI technologies in Marketing; International marketing and business, and in how companies build brands through marketing partnerships. This includes looking at how marketing areas/aspects can be better implemented to enhance customer experience, develop business, and improve business efficiencies.

Simon is also interested inProduct and Innovation management;
Product and innovation management is about being able to identify opportunities for new products and innovation; creating successful products and successfully implementing go-to-market plans and strategies across areas of sales, operations, and marketing.

Outside of teaching at the University of Kent, Simon is also a Senior Course Director for the Chartered Institute of Marketing, a Course director for eMarketeers and Oxford College of Marketing. He is a Non Executive Director for RevenueTek, a Board member of the DMA B2B Marketing Council; a Fellow of the CIM, a Global Thought Leader in marketing for a global consultancy company, ICG, and a business book author (including four marketing books) for Kogan Page.
