Collaboration opportunities

We have a flagship Business and Policy Forum, which connects established multinational corporations and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with shared interests. These companies can then jointly explore opportunities in the UK and China on contemporary management and business challenges. We also have a dedicated partnership with the Centre for China and Globalisation, the number one non-governmental think-tank in China. This collaboration comprises of blue books, white papers and research projects.

The CMGB initiatives have showcased the University of Reading's commitment to building on its longstanding commitment to China. The University has become a key partner in global business development, management and higher education and many multinational corporations and SMEs benefit from their collaboration with our researchers. Mutual benefits include providing the University with contract research income and research grants, alongside offering placement and consultancy opportunities for our students and recruitment opportunities for graduates.

The successful collaboration with the Centre for China and Globalisation (CCG) has resulted in the book publication of Entrepreneurship and Talent Management from a Global Perspective, launched in July 2015, Beijing. CMGB has another ongoing book project with Dr Huiyao Wang, Founding Director of CCG and State Counsellor in China, titled Chinese Overseas Entrepreneurship and Global Enterprise Development in the New Era.

To collaborate with the CMGB's research, please contact the CMGB Director, Professor Yipeng Liu.
