Henley Centre for Entrepreneurship and ASPECT Network Project on Entrepreneurship Visa
This project involves supporting high impact and inclusive international graduate entrepreneurs with the graduate start-up visa scheme (INT-ENT).
The project launched in 2023 and is funded by the Aspect Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities Network. It investigates institutional practices around the UK in endorsing entrepreneurship visa application and supporting graduate entrepreneurs. The objective is to enable best practice exchange among UK universities and develop a toolkit to measure and track the economic impact from international graduate entrepreneurs.
The project is jointly led by Henley Centre for Entrepreneurship, the University of Glasgow and the University of Edinburgh. It is supported by 11 universities in the UK and the wider ASPECT network to collectively support the international graduate entrepreneurs. The research outputs will be shared among all participant institutions.
Alongside Dr Anlan Chen and Professor Norbert Morawetz, the project leaders, Lisa Barclay has been appointed as a research assistant. Lisa can be contacted on l.barclay@student.reading.ac.uk
