Students
Our aim is to empower and enable you to leave the Business School confident in being able to progress your career forward successfully. Find out what's on offer to you.
Whether you're not sure what you want to do, you've got some idea, or you know exactly what you want, you can make the most of our services.
We have experienced Careers Consultants who teach on your course, run events and who you can have appointments with. They have industry knowledge for the different areas the Business School focuses on.
We also have an employer team who source organisations to run events, including insights and the occasional assessment centre, and advertise their jobs with us.
Appointments
You can talk about anything you want to talk about related to your career. For example, you might want to:
- talk about your options
- practice for an interview
- find out more about the job market
- have your CV reviewed
- discuss previous applications
- or talk about anything else related to your career!
Appointments are held over the phone or video chat at the moment, and you can book one (or two!) via My Jobs Online.
Events
Find our events on My Jobs Online. Events include Employer Panels, Finance Industry Insights, Success Studio, Resilient You, Career Development events and Real Estate specific events. If you're an MBA student you will be emailed about your extra-curricular events.
Tips and advice
We have a lot of advice and information on our Blackboard or Canvas (for MBA students) pages. Including videos, career path information, CV templates, advice on job applications and more!
Jobs
Find graduate jobs, placement opportunities and work experience on My Jobs Online! Organisations ask us to share these events with you, so it's a good place to start your search. The busiest part of the recruitment cycle is typically the autumn term.
