University Apprenticeship Programme Information

Chartered Manager Degree apprenticeship (Level 6)

Programme duration Training charges – cost per apprentice
36 months including EPA £22,000

The University will deliver a BA programme in Applied Management which will incorporate and align with the Level 6 Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship Standard.

In addition to an orientation, the Programme will comprise core modules, which are set out below, but which may be subject to change:

Organisations and environment Products and services Organisational growth
Organisations and resources Managing key resources Contemporary issues
Organisations and people Operations and infrastructure Negotiated group learning
Personal effectiveness: Understanding myself and others Personal effectiveness: Leadership Personal effectiveness: Personal growth and change
Work-based project: Assessing organisational effectiveness Work-based project: Exploring organisational challenges Work-based project: Achieving organisational change

Apprentices must also complete their End-Point Assessment in order to achieve the award.

The Programme will be taught using a blended learning approach. This will include online directed self-study, face-to-face workshops, group work, peer support, and supervised project work.

Digital and Technology Solutions Specialist (Integrated Degree) (Level 7)

Programme duration Training charges – cost per apprentice
24 months including 3 months for EPA £21,000

The University will deliver a Digital and Technology Solutions programme which will incorporate and align with the Level 7 Digital and Technology Solutions Specialist (Integrated Degree) Apprenticeship Standard.

The Programme will comprise core modules, which are set out below, but which may be subject to change:

Stage 1 - Core technical skills, knowledge & behaviours Stage 2 Either - IT Strategy specialism Stage 2 Or - Data Analytics specialism Stage 3 - Assessment Preparation
Informatics in the organisation Managing strategic alignment Data analytics strategy in business (Capstone project) Digital technology and solutions
Leading in the digital organisation Digital business strategy Data management
Digital innovation and professional practice Strategic digital technology consulting Business data analytics

Apprentices must also complete their End-Point Assessment in order to achieve the award.

The Programme will be taught using a blended learning approach. This will include online directed self-study, face-to-face workshops, group work, peer support, and supervised project work.

Senior Leader Apprenticeship (Level 7)

Programme duration Training charges – cost per apprentice
Up to 20 months including EPA £14,000

The University will deliver an Executive Diploma in Advanced Strategic Management and Leadership. The Programme has been designed to enable learners to meet the L7 Senior Leader Apprenticeship Standard, with a clear focus on the application of learning in the workplace.

The Programme will comprise core modules, which are set out below, but which may be subject to change:

Developing strategy in a changing world Ensuring responsible leadership and governance Leading through stakeholder relationships
Strategy Enterprise and risk Engaging employees
Innovation and change Finance Leading and developing people
Developing and building collaborative relationships

Apprentices must also complete their End-Point Assessment in order to achieve the award.

The Programme will be taught using a blended learning approach. This will include online directed self-study, face-to-face workshops, group work, peer support, and supervised project work.

Senior Leader Apprenticeship (Level 7)

Programme duration Training charges – cost per apprentice
21 months, including EPA £14,000

The University will deliver an Executive Diploma in Management for Future Leaders which will incorporate and align with the Level 7 Senior Leader Apprenticeship Standard.

The Programme will comprise Two stages with core modules, which at the date of this Agreement are as set out below, but which may be subject to change:

Stage 1: Leading and managing strategically and responsibly Stage 2: Leading and managing people for high performance and impact
Strategic management Finding your leadership DNA
Managing change and innovation Managing people and organisations
Corporate responsibility and ethics Personal development for future leaders II
Financial management
Personal development for future leaders I

Apprentices must also complete their End-point assessment (EPA) in order to achieve the award.

The Programme will be taught using a blended learning approach. This will include online directed self-study, face-to-face workshops, group work, peer support, and supervised project work.

Senior Leader Apprenticeship (Level 7)

20 months, including EPA £14,000

The University will deliver an Executive Diploma in Leadership. The Programme has been designed to enable learners to meet the L7 Senior Leader Apprenticeship Standard, with a clear focus on the application of learning in the workplace.

The Programme will comprise core modules, which are set out below, but which may be subject to change:

Stage 1: Developing individual leadership Stage 2: Leading the organisation
Foundation of leadership Strategic leadership and innovation
Leading personal transformation Inclusive leadership
Leadership in complexity and change Finance for leaders

Apprentices must also complete their End-Point Assessment in order to achieve the award.

The Programme will be taught using a blended learning approach. This will include online directed self-study, face-to-face workshops, group work, peer support, and supervised project work.
