Description

“The loudest have taken over – even if they have nothing to say. It’s time to harness the power of introverts.” Susan Cain, Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can’t Stop Talking.

In a world that rewards outgoing, charismatic and assertive personalities, the power of introversion is still unfairly overlooked, especially within leadership. The pressure is often to speak out, think faster and be more visible, but at what cost to those with a quieter, slower, more reflective preference?

Even as coaches, we may unconsciously bias towards extroverted norms around confidence, impact and influence. This session is about how we as coaches can create space for difference, holding deeper conversations that allow quieter leaders to thrive authentically in environments that may not be designed with them in mind.
