How to register

For qualifying programmes based at our Greenlands campus, Henley-on-Thames

Greenlands Graduation is for Programme Members who will receive their degree certificate at Henley Business School's Greenlands campus on Thursday 19 and Friday 20 September 2024.

Registration for Graduation will open in early-mid August. Once you have received your invitation email you will be able to register via your RISIS Portal. Instructions for registering are included in your invitation email.

The Ceremony Schedule will be uploaded here once it is finalised.

Registration Guidelines are able to be viewed here

Students on Whiteknights-based programmes should visit the main University of Reading graduation pages for information on the ceremonies that take place at our London Road campus in July and December each year.

All graduands can request up to two guests tickets during the registration process. Extra tickets, subject to availability, are allocated on a first come first served basis on the day, up to 90 minutes before the relevant ceremony. Graduands do not need their own ticket. For more information on tickets please view our tickets page.

Please ensure your email address is correct in your RISIS Portal so that your graduation registration information reaches you without delay.

Please note: Emails cannot be accepted in place of the official registration process via your RISIS Portal.

If you want to attend the ceremonies

If you are not entirely sure if you wish to attend it is better to register to attend first and then change your mind at a later date, as guest tickets may not be able to be allocated to you if you miss the registration deadline.

If you want to graduate in absence

After the ceremonies have taken place your certificate will be posted to the address you specify via the registration process.

If you are a Henley Africa student who studied in Johannesburg please note that, due to the unreliability of the South African postal system, if you supply a delivery address in South Africa your certificate will instead be couriered en-masse to the Henley Africa office in Paulshof, Jo'berg. You will then be able to collect your certificate at the Henley Africa Graduation event later in the year, or at a different time arranged directly with Henley Africa colleagues.

Please note: We are only able to send certificates out to confirmed address so your certificate will not be posted unless you have registered to graduate in absence on your RISIS Portal.

If you want to graduate at a future ceremony

  • If you have not yet completed your programme, or to defer your attendance to next year's ceremonies, please register via your RISIS Portal in August 2024.

You will not be able to defer your graduation after the registration deadline and, as long as we have a final result for you, you will graduate in absence in September 2024.

Please note: If you choose defer your graduation, you will not receive your degree certificate until you officially graduate at a future ceremony. The next set of Greenlands Graduation ceremonies will be in September 2025.
