We are excited to announce the official launch of our India Alumni Chapter. Please do join us and take this opportunity to connect with fellow Henley Alumni based in India. The evening will feature an introduction to the community, networking and an interactive session led by two Henley Business School Tutors. This event is being organised by India Chapter Leader, Kritika Gupta if you have any questions prior to the event please connect with her on Henley Live, our Alumni Platform.

About our guest speaker session - How to build top performing teams

During this experiential, interactive, and very practical session, we will explore how the fastest growing area of coaching - team coaching - can help leaders, HR partners and your organisations build top-performing teams.

By the end of the session, you will have explored:

- the seven characteristics of top performing teams

- practical tools and techniques to use with teams in a physical, virtual or hybrid setting

Our Speakers:

Lucy Widdowson -

Lucy is an executive, team and leadership development coach (MSc, PCC), Director of Performance Edge and a lead tutor on team coaching at Henley Business School. During her 30-year corporate career, Lucy worked at board level as an HR director and led award-winning teams.

Lucy has developed a unique team coaching framework, ‘Creating the Team Edge’, that has been proven to accelerate the team performance of board, senior and functional teams. This work has taken Lucy around the world working with teams in multiple sectors (https://performance-edge.co.uk/team-coaching/).

As a board member of the UK ICF (International Coaching Federation), Lucy is a global thought leader on team coaching. Lucy is also co-author with Paul J Barbour of the book ‘Building Top Performing Teams’ (Kogan Page, 2021).

Paul J Barbour -

Paul is an executive, team and leadership development coach. Paul’s interest in the psychology of teams began during a successful 20-year career as a senior leader in Kerry Group PLC, one of the world’s largest food and ingredients businesses.

An award-winning student on the Henley MSc in Coaching & Behavioural Change, Paul was also awarded ‘Best Newcomer’ to Personal Construct Psychology at the 14th Biennial European Personal Construct Association Conference.

Paul is a writer and speaker with strong interests in conflict resolution, human needs and team coaching. He is also co-author with Lucy Widdowson of the book ‘Building Top Performing Teams’ (Kogan Page, 2021).
