John Madejski Centre for Reputation Impact Partnership Webinar - Building Successful Teams: the Importance of Roles and Purpose

This webinar will be held on 29 July 2025 at 1:00pm UK time via Zoom and is open to all JMCR members and collaborators. The speakers are Professor Kevin Money, Co-Director of the John Madejski Centre for Reputation UK and Africa, and Dr Anne Dibley, Associate Professor in Marketing and Head of Post Experience Postgraduate Programmes at Henley Business School.

In this interactive online event, Kevin and Anne will lead participants through the session in two stages. First, Anne will set break-out groups a challenge related to better articulating organisational and personal purpose related to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Second, Kevin will explore the team roles associated with success by building on experiences in the breakout session.

At the end of the workshop, participants should be able to better articulate their own personal and organisational purpose. They will also be able to better identify and label team roles and build more successful teams through encouraging a balance in roles.

The JMCR Impact Partnership connects leaders from non-government organisations in South Africa with global leaders from Henley Business School's network. It exists to continue and extend the relationships built during the Reputation and Responsibility Immersion Visit and provides a trusted infrastructure for leaders to continue to share, develop and grow together, supporting one another and working on projects of their choice. In doing so, we aim to enhance the development of leaders and the positive social impacts they make.
