An exclusive event for our MIM community


Recent alumni and current students from the Masters in Management suite of programmes are invited to an exclusive event where you can build new connections within the Henley Business School alumni community. Get the chance to catch up with former fellow students, meet the current and new cohorts, listen to relevant topics from faculty, fellow alumni and guest speakers, while enjoying a fantastic day including lunch and a dinner cruise on the Thames followed by drinks and dancing all based at our picturesque Greenlands campus in Henley on Thames.

Being part of the MIM Programme provides you opportunities to attend “by invitation only” events like these which offer a combination of knowledge and learning elements, as well as activities to foster a fun social interaction and networking among students and alumni.

09:45 - Student arrivals and registration

10:00 - Student Session: Play to Win!
Get to know the rest of your project group and go head to head against other groups to show them how it's done! This game lets you test your business skills and experience team work against the clock. Delivered by Sarah Rourke, Careers Consultant, and co-hosted by Graham Philpott, Career Development Manager

10:30 - Alumni arrivals and registration

11:00 - Faculty Knowledge Session for Alumni

Alumni and current students will enjoy a scrumptious lunch at Heyworth Restaurant

13:30 - Your Henley Alumni Network
Jean-Pierre Choulet, Director of Alumni and Development, Henley Business School will share updates about the global Henley alumni network and launch the MIM Mentoring Programme for the 2018/19 intake

14:00 - Building Your Career
Alumni Panel and Q&A: "What I Wish I had Known Then - Reflections & Projections"
James Stott (MSc International Management 2017) and Graham Philpott, Career Development Manager, will share insights on building your career after completing the MIM programme.

14:30 - Life and Work Skills Workshop
The Art of Public Speaking with Robin Kermode.

Learn how to engage and influence your audience for maximum impact, whether that's an audience of one or one hundred! Learn more about this interactive and fun workshop.

15:30 - Afternoon Tea at the Heyworth Restaurant

16:30 - Free time to give way for catching up and networking with fellow attendees

18:00 - Evening Dinner Cruise aboard the New Orleans
The largest and most luxurious passenger vessel on the upper Thames will pick us up from the Greenlands campus for an evening dinner cruise.

21:00 - Raise a toast to your cohorts at the MIM Celebration and dance the night away at the Greenlands campus. (Pay bar)

24:00 - Event close

Attendance is free but bookings are by invite only so keep an eye out for yours. Encourage your classmates to join you for a cohort reunion.

Transport: Thinking of travelling to Henley Business School Greenlands by train? Please indicate on the registration form. If there is enough interest, we will organise a coach between Henley-on-Thames train station and the Greenlands campus.
