Description
The mental health crisis is caused by a modern-day phenomenon – the world is moving faster than human evolution. We’ve been outpaced. And as the world changes, so do the rules. The game of life is difficult enough, but if you’re playing by the pre-Covid rules, you’re opening yourself up to a whole load of problems. To do more than survive – to thrive and come alive – you need to ditch the tired old wisdom.
‘Rising stronger’ introduces you to some fresh thinking. Grounded in the relatively new science of positive psychology, the aim is to make you think, reflect and (hopefully) chuckle. But there’s nothing funny about it. There’s an uncomfortable truth that is often left unsaid – life is short but it’s an awfully long time to be going through the motions. This is a wake-up call; no more wasting time but instead focus on what is most important and take giant strides towards your true potential.
Learning outcomes
By the end of the session, you will:
- have been introduced to the positive psychology paradigm shift
- understand some of the ‘secrets’ of human flourishing
- experience an immediate emotional and energy uplift
- be part of a positive ripple effect, at work and home
- be comfortable with doing less and being more
- have enormous fun
