Henley Business School awarded five-year AMBA re-accreditation

AMBA accreditation

Henley Business School has achieved full re-accreditation from AMBA recognising the excellence of our MBA and DBA offerings, awarded for a period of five years. Henley therefore maintains its triple-accreditation status (AACSB, AMBA, EQUIS) - remaining one of the top business schools in the world.

To achieve this re-accreditation, Henley’s MBA programmes have been recognised as demonstrating the highest standards in teaching, learning and curriculum design, career development and employability, and student, alumni and employer interaction .

AMBA commended many aspects of Henley’s MBA and DBA programmes, including:

  • the exceptional quality of Henley’s DBA programme.
  • our Greenlands campus, which remains an exceptional learning environment for executive level students.
  • the distinctiveness of the personal development module that is highly appreciated by MBA students.
  • our well-qualified, empowered and committed faculty who are clearly committed to the academic and pastoral wellbeing of students.

Professor Elena B. Spasova, Dean of Henley Business School, said of the re-accreditation:

“Our MBA programmes are among the best in the world with this reaccreditation highlighting the distinctiveness of our courses in developing not only the professional, but the person. The courses provide a world-class international learning experience, with excellent teaching from our committed faculty, an exceptional learning environment and an engaged and active global alumni community.

“We are delighted to receive this accreditation for a further five years maintaining our triple-accredited status, with less than 30 UK business schools holding triple-accreditation. Thank you to all the staff, students and alumni across our programmes in Europe and South Africa for their hard work and commitment to excellence.”

One of only a handful of UK business schools to hold triple accreditation from the UK, European and US accreditation bodies, Henley has once again demonstrated its commitment to exceeding standards of excellence and dedication to continued improvement.

Assessment by AMBA took place in April 2024. AMBA is a London-based international membership and quality assurance body for world-leading and high-potential business schools. It is the leading impartial authority on MBA education, specifically offering MBA portfolio accreditation for leading business schools.
