We have a number of scholarships and bursaries available to support outstanding applicants for MBA programmes in 2019. Please note these scholarships are available to students studying on our UK-based programmes only.

Executive MBA Scholarships and Bursaries 2020

We have a number of scholarships and bursaries available for the Executive MBA March 2020 intake.

Henley Business School Executive MBA Scholarships 2020

Subject

A scholarship is financial support awarded by an academic institution to a student on the basis of academic merit. A key consideration in our selection of Henley’s Executive MBA Scholarship awards will therefore be the degree to which we believe the candidate will make a significant contribution to the quality of the Henley MBA programme.

Criteria

It is likely that award winners will have a PhD, Master’s degree, or either a UK first-class Honours Degree or its international equivalent from a reputable, leading University or academic institution. Outstanding professional experience will also be considered. Scholarships are awarded by an academic panel of Henley Business School and their decision is final and not open to discussion or appeal by applicants.

Finance

A number of awards are available. These are typically between 10% and 20% but in exceptional circumstances can be up to 50%. Scholarships cannot be transferred to another intake if a student chooses to defer their entry.

Scholarships are awarded on a rolling basis, therefore applicants are advised to submit their full programme application with all supporting documents as early as possible if they wish to be considered for a scholarship.

How to apply

Applicants holding a full unconditional offer of a place on the Henley Executive MBA for 2020 should speak with the MBA Recruitment Team if they wish to be considered for a scholarship. Applicants will be considered based on the strength of their MBA application, including the essay question.

Henley Business School Executive MBA Bursaries 2020

Subject

A bursary provides financial assistance to a student who meets specific eligibility criteria set by the Henley Business School faculty and whose personal circumstances demonstrate the need for financial support. In addition, a limited number of bursaries are made available to students from specific target categories of students who bring diversity to the MBA programme at Henley.

Criteria

We are looking for exceptional candidates who will add considerable value to the programme based on an outstanding academic or professional background.

Bursaries are awarded by a faculty panel at Henley Business School and their decision is final and not open to discussion or appeal by applicants.

Finance

A number of awards are available. These are typically between 10% and 20% but in exceptional circumstances can be up to 50%. Scholarships cannot be transferred to another intake if a student chooses to defer their entry.

Executive MBA (Global) Scholarships - Personal Development

Subject

This philosophy underpins the approach of the Executive MBA (Global) and develops leaders who are resilient, responsible, adaptable and self-aware.

Henley Business School is proud to offer a range of scholarships to outstanding candidates for the March 2020 intake whose passion, aims and goals align with Henley’s commitment to personal development as an integral part of the Executive MBA experience.

Criteria

Scholarships will be based on the following criteria:

  • The information supplied in your scholarship submission (see How to Apply section)
  • The information supplied in your application to the programme, including a strong academic record and/or a demonstrable professional achievement, experience or ambition
  • For those candidates who have undertaken an interview, their performance may also be considered.

Finance

Up to 4 scholarships are available at 20% - 50% of the programme tuition fee.

This award cannot be combined with any other scholarships or awards. It is valid only for those joining the UK cohort of the Executive MBA (Global) starting in March 2020. Scholarships cannot be transferred to another intake if a candidate chooses to defer their entry.

Scholarships will be awarded on a rolling basis. The deadline for applications is 19 January 2020, midnight GMT.

How to apply

Candidates are invited to submit a short statement (no more than 300 words) summarising their views on the business value of personal development and demonstrating their commitment to their own personal development journey on the Executive MBA. Flexible Executive MBA Scholarships and Bursaries 2020

We have a number of scholarships and bursaries available for the UK-based Flexible Executive MBA in 2020.

Henley Business School Flexible Executive MBA Bursaries March 2020

Subject

An MBA bursary provides financial assistance to a student who meets specific eligibility criteria set by the Henley Business School faculty and whose personal circumstances demonstrate the need for financial support. In addition, a limited number of bursaries are made available to students from specific target categories who will bring diversity to the MBA programme at Henley.

Criteria

Candidates must hold an unconditional offer for the March 2020 intake of the Flexible Executive MBA programme. Applicants may apply based on one of the following categories:

  • Applicants who bring knowledge and experience regarding international business and management, in particular in emergent markets and/or in culturally diverse settings.
  • Applicants employed by an organisation within the non-profit/voluntary sector that makes a contribution to improve the personal or social experiences of communities or individuals.
  • Applicants who currently work in small- to medium-sized organisations or head their own organisation.
  • Applicants from any industry or background who are able to demonstrate highly valuable business or individual experience which would contribute to team learning.

Bursary applications are considered by a faculty panel at Henley Business School whose decision is final and not open to discussion or appeal by applicants.

Finance

A number of awards are available up to 50% of the programme fees, typically between 15% and 25%. Awards are decided based on both the strength of the applicant and their individual circumstances. Bursaries cannot be transferred to another intake if a student chooses to defer their entry.

Applicants will need to hold a full unconditional offer of a place on the Henley Flexible Executive MBA for March 2020 in order to be considered. Bursaries are allocated on a rolling basis whilst funds are available. It is therefore advised that applicants wishing to apply for a bursary send their application to the programme as early as possible.

Applicants will need to hold a full unconditional offer of a place on the Henley Flexible Executive MBA in order to be considered for a scholarship. Scholarships are awarded on a rolling basis, and applicants are therefore advised to submit their full programme application with all supporting documents as soon as possible.

Please note that scholarship applications must be made 2 weeks before programme start date and will not be considered after programme enrolment.

To apply for this scholarship candidates are required to write an 800-word piece entitled "What will you contribute to the Henley Business School MBA community?".
