Overview

The Henley Advanced Personal Leadership programme is not a conventional executive education programme.

It offers a unique learning experience that helps you gain insight into your personal impact as a leader, taking you through an expertly facilitated process of group and individual live learning, where real change occurs. You will build deep self-awareness, see what’s working, what needs to change, and develop a clear action plan for success to move your leadership forward.

This programme builds your resilience, brings new perspectives and develops your personal leadership, leading to stronger relationships and greater impact.

Through direct, real-time feedback, you will have the opportunity to see yourself as others see you. By its nature, the programme is individually tailored to you, evoking curiosity about the unconscious drivers and emotions shaping your decisions and how you lead. You will gain a deeper understanding of individual behaviours, team interactions, and dynamics between teams.

As part of the application process, you will have a consultation call with our team to discuss the programme in more detail and ensure it is the right fit for you.

Course structure

The Henley Advanced Personal Leadership Programme is entirely practical, delivered through group work and discussions, real-life leadership challenges and one-to-one consultations. You will 'learn by doing' and explore the leadership styles that work for you.

The programme runs for a total of six and a half days:

Pre-programme
Module 1
Module 2
Post-programme

APL: Pre-Programme (3-4 weeks)

Three to four weeks before your course starts, you will:

  • Complete a 360-degree leadership questionnaire on your strengths and areas for improvement
  • Identify development objectives to help you get the most out of your course

APL: Module 1 (5.5 days)

Module 1 enables you to tackle real leadership challenges and examine different leadership approaches. It culminates in a personal leadership development plan.
