Frequently asked questions

We recommend booking at least 6 weeks before the commencement of the programme as some of our programmes have required pre-work. If this could be an issue for you, please contact the team.

Before you attend your programme you will:

  • Receive your joining instructions - sent to you from our Programme Administration team, these will include your programme-specific information. For all programmes, you will receive the programme agenda, accommodation and travel information, as well as access to any required pre-work.

  • Complete your pre-work - for most programmes there will be tasks you will need to complete prior to attending your programme. These can include pre-reading of relevant articles or course literature, self-assessment, and psychometric testing.

You can check what pre-work will be required on the relevant programme pages.

360-degree feedback are a series of feedback assessments that you will need to arrange for your colleagues (ranging from junior to senior positions) to complete, you will also complete a self-assessment. The purpose of these is to help identify some of the following:

  • Strengths
  • Development needs
  • Personality characteristics
  • Aptitude

The feedback is entirely confidential and anonymous, only shared with our expert tutors and faculty to help in your development.

Psychometric tests are self-marked questionnaires that indicate your personal preferences, (e.g. Intorversion/Extroversion). They offer insight into how that affects your leadership style.

This, combined with your colleague's feedback will identify key themes that inform your development throughout the programme.

Yes, we have face-to-face programmes running from June 2021. To find out more about staying at Greenlands, read our Visiting Greenlands - COVID 19 safety information page.

If you can't join us in person at this time we have a number of programmes that offer a live-online format.

Our programmes are specifically designed to be highly practical. Our focus is to ensure you will leave your programme ready to apply everything you have learned.

The programmes are often modular and include a follow-up day (or module two). You will leave Henley after your first module and immediately apply your learning in a professional environment. You will reconvene for module 2 with faculty and peers to reflect on your learning and receive support and guidance.

We incorporate many approaches in our programmes including:

  • Peer coaching
  • One-to-one mentoring
  • Group work
  • Practical exercises
