Description

Schema coaching has a strong evidence-base in schema therapy that has been used in many parts of the world for over 20 years as a highly successful approach for helping clients with anxiety and depression, as well as more severe personality disorders.

In a recent development Dr Iain McCormick has adapted this approach, that was originally used with the clinical population, for use with coaching clients. A schema is an early organised and persistent pattern of thoughts, feelings and behaviour that has a profound impact on adult life. Schema can have either a positive or negative influence on the individual.

This one-day Masterclass based on his book Schema Coaching: Overcoming Deep-seated Challenges provides a detailed introduction to schema coaching with clear descriptions of the range of integrated techniques. It also includes live coaching sessions covering key areas.

This highly informative and interactive Masterclass will be of broad interest to coaching students, professional coaches, coach trainers and academics.
