Professor Parker is editor for Accounting, Auditing and Accountability Journal and several other leading accounting journals. His research interests are mainly in the area of corporate governance, Strategic management and Control and social and environmental accountability.

He has published his research in several leading accounting journals, including the Accounting, Organizations and Society, Contemporary Accounting Research, Accounting Auditing and Accountability Journal and Accounting and Business Research.
