Description
Trust is an essential part of life – we cannot collaborate or operate without it. And yet, despite its importance, rarely do we stop to think about what we actually mean by trust.
In this interactive session, we’ll begin with a model of trust and offer some distinctions to help us understand what trust is. We will look at how to build and maintain trust and explore how to repair trust when it is breached. We’ll look at trust as an emotional leadership skill that we can develop and also identify how to sustain trust through our day-to-day interactions with others.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this session, you will come away with a:
- clear understanding of what trust is and its impact in the workplace
- framework on how to have conversations to build and sustain trust
- framework on how to begin to rebuild trust after a breach
Who is this for?
As trust is such an important part of effective working relationships, this session is intended for anyone who co-ordinates with others, either as a leader or as a team member.
