Description
A masterclass to help you develop your leadership capabilities through experiential, drama-based exercises and moments of targeted rehearsal. You will explore the foundations of effective communication, influence and negotiation, and learn how to apply these in the ever-changing business landscape.
We will first concentrate on ‘monologue’ – a focus on the self and building a leadership brand to amplify impact while maintaining a sense of authenticity, as well as mastering presentation skills through structure, style and storytelling techniques.
Next, we explore ‘dialogue’ – a focus on leading others, looking at interpersonal dialogue and how to make the most out of 1:1s, especially when it comes to managing and motivating others, as well as the fundamentals of effective negotiation.
Throughout the session, you will receive expert coaching and individual feedback from Kerrie and Hywel to hone your approach and upskill your key leadership behaviours.
Learning Outcomes
This masterclass will help you:
- boost your presentation skills by mastering the ‘what’ (content and structure) as well as the ‘how’ (techniques for more memorable messaging through storytelling and vocal/physical effects)
- find your leadership brand (‘a metaphor for me’) and learn how to flex your approach to best manage and motivate others in 1:1s
- understand the three main negotiating styles and how these might be applied to best suit your needs through practical, small-group exercises
Who is this for?
Emerging leaders and high-potential professionals early in their careers, either in managerial roles or those who are aspiring leaders.
