The Heart and Soul of Coaching Retreat
Take yourself from doing coaching into being a coach through our 2-day immersive coaching retreat facilitated by coaching experts Karen Foy and Aboodi Shabi, and including a 2 night stay at our beautiful Greenlands campus in Henley.
Description
Explore the emotional and personal commitment you bring to your coaching, going beyond technical skills and knowledge to deepen your ability to connect with and support your clients on a more impactful level.
Join us and other participants for an intensive deep-dive into the being of coaching, to help you uncover your true essence as a coach. Make the most of this opportunity to unplug and switch off from the outside world for two days, leave your gadgets and your emails behind, and focus instead on the here-and-now – made all the easier by being hidden away at our captivating riverside venue.
Each session will be highly experiential, and participants will be encouraged to reflect on their learning throughout the retreat. You’ll also have plenty of time to practice coaching in pairs and trios, as well as to share your thoughts and experiences with others in the group in plenary conversations.
You’ll come away with:
- a deeper understanding of what gets in the way of being present with your clients
- practices to work on building your presence in the light of the above
- a greater sense of the importance of working with emotions in coaching
- new ways to be comfortable with not knowing
- a greater understanding and ability to demonstrate the ICF core coaching competencies with ease and precision
This session will be of benefit to new and seasoned coaches alike who want to deepen their capacity to go beyond techniques and be fully present in their coaching.
