Middle Eastern coaching research project

This research was undertaken by Jonathan Passmore, Director of the Henley Centre for Coaching, in partnership with the International Coach Federation (ICF) and Middle Eastern ICF chapters, after a tour of the region in February 2019 encompassing Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and Oman.

The aim of the research project was to extend beyond traditional institutional networks and mainstream approaches, recognising the equal value of all countries and all cultures.

The survey was launched on 1 March 2019 and consists of two streams: one aimed at coaches and the other at those who commission coaching. The research explores coach training, ethics, continuing professional development and practice.
