Prof. Angelique Chettiparamb participates in panel discussion on 'Land Rights and Leverage'
Prof. Angelique Chettiparamb participated in the ‘Plan OK Please’ two-day symposium on ‘Political Economy Perspectives in City-Making’ organised at Bhubaneshwar, Orissa, India on the 4th and 5th of November, 2019 by the German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ).

The panel consisted of practitioners, policy makers, GIZ officials and academics and was organized around the issue of land rights and the role of such rights in ensuring equity in distribution and a fairer access to housing. The presentation for the symposium drew upon Prof. Chettiparamb’s research of the East London Community Land Trust and their experience in the St Clement’s development, London. This research was funded by the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy in US.
