Reading 2050: The Future of the Reading Diamond in the Thames Valley
Next Thursday (28th March), Professor Kathy Pain will be giving a talk as part of the Reading 2050 Lecture Series. Ahead of the talk, she has written this blog to explain how Reading, once famed for ‘beer, biscuits and bulbs’, became a hub for high tech industry. Kathy will highlight how smarter town planning, which also embraces “good density”, could secure its future economic success.
