Yaoye Zhu is a Henley Business School PhD student in the department of Leadership, Organisations, Behaviour and Reputation.
His research interests include gender inequality in the workplace, the career pipeline for science, technology, engineering and mathematics, social cognitive theory, social cognitive career theory, self-efficacy models and monetary policy.
Before joining Henley Business School, Yaoye earned an MSc in Banking and Finance from Queen Mary University of London in 2025. He also holds two other postgraduate qualifications, an MRes in Sociology in 2021 from the University of Bath and an MSc in Management from the University of Glasgow awarded in 2019. He received his undergraduate qualification in 2018, a BA in Business and Management from the University of Huddersfield.
