Henley Centre for Leadership podcast ‘Leadership Unlocked’ returns for series two
Six senior leaders talk candidly about their career highs, lows and learnings
Following the success of series one, the Henley Centre for Leadership’s 'Leadership Unlocked' podcast returns for a second series. Six senior leaders, including CEOs and MDs from the worlds of media, arts, technology, talent acquisition, transport and logistics, and construction, share their inspiring stories and leadership experiences with Professor Bernd Vogel.
The stellar guest lineup, featuring four Henley alumni, offers fresh and thought-provoking perspectives on what it means to be at the helm of an organisation today, amid the testing times we all face.
Themes covered during series two include: dispelling the myth that leadership only takes place at the top; the power of positive paranoia; the underrated role of happiness at work; getting comfortable with the uncomfortable; creating impact without influence; and the fine line between risk taking and responsibility.
Hosted by Bernd Vogel, Professor in Leadership and Founding Director of the Henley Centre for Leadership in the UK and Africa, all six episodes in series two (as well as the first seven in series one) are available to listen to now on Spotify and Apple Podcasts, with the guest line up as follows:
- Episode 8: Melanie Christopher, EVP and CSO, Capgemini
- Episode 9: Leo Harrison, Founder and CEO, Chapter 2
- Episode 10: Darren Henley, CEO, Arts Council England and Chair of the National Lottery Forum
- Episode 11: Kim Sides, Executive Director, Construction, UK & Ireland, Royal BAM Group
- Episode 12: Simon Koerner, Global Lead Organisational Effectiveness, DSV
- Episode 13: Nomsa Chabeli, Group CEO, SABC
Commenting on the conversations, Professor Bernd Vogel said: "These are honest conversations packed with practical insights to help you think differently, lead more effectively and learn from those who've navigated the realities of senior leadership."
