Dr Fabio Goncalves de Oliveira is a Lecturer in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Henley Business School. Fabio has 18 years of academic experience in higher education.
I built in extensive industry experience acquired by working in Sales and Marketing directorship and managerial positions in multinational companies and supporting start-ups in Brazil and Latin America. I have designed and implemented sales and marketing strategies, teambuilding, marketing campaigns, trade marketing management, training programmes, go-to-market strategies and remuneration schemes. I'm an entrepreneur, founder and CEO of hypersellers.ai.
I combine professional and academic experience to engage students at all levels to experiment AI techniques, learn and apply modern concepts of business and management.
My research interests are in studies of Generative AI, Agentic AI, Conversational AI impacts in Sales Management, Salespeople, Sales processes, higher education and Entrepreneurship. AI tools, no code, low code, vibe coding as vectors of innovation and firms' performance.
My theoretical lens is on the socio-techno, dynamic capabilities, absorptive capacity and strategic angles to AI technologies (from AI-digital human avatars in different forms of anthropomorphism to Agentic AI systems) adoption, how it impacts people, education, administrative workflows, meaning of work, work mobility and changes in ways of completing tasks, governance, productivity, skills development, productivity and firm's performance (profitability).
My preferred methods of analysis are qualitative methods (conversation analysis, thematic analysis, content analysis, Corpus Linguistic) using machine learning and GenAI mixed with quantitative methods such as PLS-SEM and Panel Data modelling with machine learning.
