Student entrepreneurship initiatives at Henley Business School and the wider University of Reading are all aimed at putting entrepreneurship into practice. Henley Centre for Entrepreneurship (HCfE) has a schedule of events that we invite all students across campus to get involved in.
HCfE co-ordinate three major events for students annually, with each one helping students take another step towards starting their own business:
- Entrepreneurship Vibes. This is our first major event of the academic year, which introduces new students to our members of faculty, the ways in which we support students and the actions they can take to begin refining a business idea into a fully-fledged business.
- IDEAFEST Student Business Idea Competition. This is our second major event of the academic year, aimed at getting students to work on developing a business idea that could someday be commercialised. There is prize money up for grabs for the best idea!
- Henley Summer Start-Up Boot Camp. This is our final event of the academic year and a chance for students to get hands-on with all the steps of setting up a business from scratch.
On top of this we have further initiatives that students can access whenever they need them, such as our Business Idea and Start-Up Clinic appointments that are held weekly. To find out more about our initiatives, click the links down the menu.
