Entrepreneurship Society
Reading Entrepreneurs, the University of Reading's Entrepreneurship Society, aims to encourage student innovation and entrepreneurship through a range of events and initiatives, led by the student society committee and co-ordinated by Henley Centre for Entrepreneurship (HCfE).

Whether you're aiming to start your own business, join an SME or work for a big corporation, Reading Entrepreneurs can help give you the tools, resources and confidence you need.
The Society is entirely student-led and was launched by HCfE in 2014, in partnership with Reading University Students' Union (RUSU). It is the biggest non-sport society on campus and runs several events throughout the academic year, including guest speaker talks, lectures and more. Most significant is the Entrepreneurship Conference, a networking event launched in 2020 that featured several successful business leaders sharing their insights on starting and growing a business. The full news release from the 2022 event is available to read here.
The Society President for the 2022/23 academic year is Giles McLoughlin, a BA Business and Management student.

Speaking about becoming the new President, Giles said: "My aim is to help everyone get the most out of what the society offers and build a culture where everyone has the confidence and the voice to share their own unique opinions and views."
The other members of the Entrepreneurship Society's committee include the following:
- Waqas Swalheen, BA Business and Management student, as Vice President
- Jakub Siedacz, BSc Business and Management student, as Business Development Officer
