Entrepreneurship Society
Reading Entrepreneurs, the University of Reading's Entrepreneurship Society, aims to encourage student innovation and entrepreneurship through a range of events and initiatives. It is led by the student society committee through the Reading Students' Union and supported by Henley Enterprise Lab (HELAB) and Henley Centre for Entrepreneurship (HCfE).
Whether you're aiming to start your own business, join an SME or work for a big corporation, Reading Entrepreneurs can help give you the tools, resources and confidence you need.
The Entrepreneurship Society exists to bridge the gap between ideas and initiative. As the hub of creativity and ambition, it lays the foundation for turning vision into action. Through workshops, keynotes, and panels, the society fosters both personal growth and a thriving community.
This year, the Entrepreneurship Society embarks on its most ambitious programme yet, hosting its largest Flagship Entrepreneurship Conference, its first Start-Up Pitch Competition, and Henley Business School’s first-ever Start-Up Fair, alongside many more exciting initiatives.
Founded in 2014 by HCfE, the Entrepreneurship Society has established itself as the University of Reading Student Union’s largest non-sports society and one of the most impactful student-led initiatives on campus.
This year’s Executive Committee aims to build on that strong foundation and take the Society to the next level.

University of Reading Entrepreneurship Society Annual Conference: A Celebration of Change
On 19 March 2025, the University of Reading Entrepreneurship Society hosted its Annual Conference at Henley Business School. The event, themed 'Change,' brought together over 50 enthusiastic students eager to delve into the world of entrepreneurship.
