Henley Careers - develop your potential
Where are you going and how will you get there?
The Careers Team recognise that one-size does not fit all when it comes to careers supports. All our students have their own individual needs, and Henley’s courses cover many different industries and sectors. We therefore work closely with our academic & administrative colleagues to deliver bespoke support for each department and each level of student – with one clear aim: enabling and empowering our students towards achieving success in their careers.
What can you do with our service?
Meet with a career consultant – book in with your careers consultant to discuss any careers-related topic from discussing what’s best for you; through improving your CVs and applications; and onto practicing and improving your interview and assessment performance.
Drop into a workshop - come along to workshops every lunchtime (excluding Wednesdays) to discover different career areas, explore how to improve your skills and understand which career paths you will be most successful in.
Network at employer events – attend weekly events when various employers will be on site to talk to you about their companies, industries and opportunities, and answer your questions.
Access our online resources – visit the Henley Careers Blackboard site for online support – we provide you with a wealth of information to support you through every stage of the careers process.
Apply for jobs through MyJobsOnline – visit the University’s job board and search through the database of job adverts. Many employers specifically aim to attract applicants from Henley Business School and advertise with us.
Attend the Business Leaders programme – get involved with the Business Leaders programme and develop your understanding of leadership, entrepreneurship and personal development through a series of stimulating workshops and networking opportunities.
