The Leadership Programme develops and refines your personal leadership skills, including your ability to handle difficult situations, influence others and build relationships. You will also learn how to increase your mental and physical capacity when working under pressure.

You will join the programme as part of a small but diverse group of peers, helping each other through shared experiences.

During the first five-day module, you will clarify the key challenges you want to address and the actions you want to take. This is followed by a significant period of application where you will implement and trial new approaches.

In Module 2 you will reconvene to review what you have learned and reflect on how best to stretch your learning and development goals further, after which the learning and development journey continues.

The Leadership Programme is delivered through a careful blend of tutor inputs, group exercises, psychometric profiling, 360-degree feedback, personal reflection and one-to-one coaching. Throughout the programme the emphasis is on the practical application to your own situation and workplace.

The programme runs for a total of six and half days:

Module 1 allows you to get to grips with your leadership style, critically review leadership models, and set leadership goals.

In this module, you will explore:

  • Insights into yourself as a leader (and how you function in your current business context) through psychometric profiling and 360-degree feedback
  • The practical implications of these insights for your day-to-day leadership approach (via a 1:1 coaching session)
  • How current leadership models and thinking can be applied to your situation and leadership objectives
  • How to test your learning with a leadership challenge exercise
  • How to review your development and set goals
